GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR OFFICIAL SOUTH AFRICAN DELEGATIONS INTENDING TO VISIT SOUTH KOREA

   In order for the South African Embassy in Seoul to be able to assist with the necessary arrangements,
   it is important to forward an Official Letter well in advance to :

The letter should state the purpose of the visit and provide authorisation that the South African Embassy in Seoul can proceed to effect payment for accommodation, transport and interpretation services on behalf of the (relevant) Department/State Institution.

For this purpose the letter should also contain all the relevant budgetary allocation codes.

   The South African Embassy in Seoul can assist with making the following payments on behalf of the
   delegation (to be debited from the account of the relevant Department/State Institution):

Accommodation including breakfast, laundry, official telephone calls and water only, but excluding private telephone
  calls, mini bar or other expenses incurred by individuals
Interpretation services
Rental of cellular phones (Please note that South African cellular phones do not operate in Korea)
Surface transport from and to the International Airport and to all official meetings arranged.

Please note that hotels usually request a credit card as guarantee for incidentals.
